Title: The answer
Description: Mpreg arc. I wrote this for Race's birthday, and it kept growing... and growing... Warning for MPreg, of course. Set in a world where time compression didn't end, and Squall's team failed in their battle against Ultimecia.
Pairing: seifer/squall
Rating: nc-17
Word count: 549
Notes: Drabbles/ficlets tend to be written at work, so they're not as lucid as some of my writing. They're also completely unbeta'd unless otherwise stated, please forgive this.
Squall lifted his head dully, still panting as his body slowly recovered from the exertion. He was still stretched open. The sensation of it still inside him keeping him stretched until it was almost painful compared to the pleasant full feeling kept him breathing hard, holding himself as still as he could. He wasn't sure whether eh wanted to beg for it to be taken out, or remain silent. Nor was he sure if he could speak without his voice breaking.
He looked at Seifer, finding his master looking at the clock, lost in thought.
"S... Seifer," Squall murmured at last, lifting himself on one arm only through concern. The toy shifted inside him, making him shudder and whimper in spite of himself. "Seifer, are you okay?"
"Hm?" he looked up, jade eyes glowing in the half light. Squall couldn't help the wariness he felt when he saw the evidence of his master's knightly powers. He was bound to Seifer as surely as Seifer was bound to Ultimecia, and Squall secretly feared and loathed that power. "I just realised, you only have another two hours until I have to have your final decision."
Squall closed his eyes, breathing deeply and slowly. He couldn't think with that thing inside him, and it took all his time to speak up. "Take it out... please."
Considering the request for a minute that felt like a lifetime, Seifer finally moved to relieve his lover at last. Squall slumped onto the bed again and whimpered in relief. "Better?" Seifer chuckled at him and sat down beside him to pet him.
"Mmm," he nodded, arching to Seifer's touch even though his entire body ached with the aftermath of the pleasure Seifer had forced upon him. "...If I agree," Squall murmured, resting his hand on Seifer's to stop him for a moment. "If I agree, will I... change?"
"Physically, only a little. She knows that I love you as you are and that I wouldn't want you to change."
"But How?" Squall looked down at himself. He couldn't understand how a little change would enable him to provide an heir, to become pregnant. The very idea was still alien and utterly wrong. If it hadn't been for the chance of losing Seifer to someone else he wouldn't have even considered it.
However, the threat was there. Seifer was all he had left, and the only thing he cared about at all in this odd world of sorceress magic and time compression. Even if almost all his control had been taken from him, it was important to him that Seifer had at least given this choice. As he saw it, there was only one real response.
"I don't fully understand. She promised that you wouldn't change externally, only internally for the duration of the spell - as long as you are pregnant."
Feeling as lost and vulnerable as he did, Squall shifted to rest his head in Seifer's lap. It was the thing he always did when he felt confused, when he couldn't really see the way. This time though, he could see the way. There was only one real choice, only one real path if he wanted to remain in his current place and not find himself in some worse position.
"I'll do it," he whispered.
